Overview Of Role
The Room Attendant will ensure that all areas within the hotel are maintained to high standard of cleanliness and maintenance to ensure maximum guest satisfaction.
EXPECTATIONS
The Room Attendant Is Expected To
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms and bathrooms thoroughly.
- Replace bed linens, towels, and toiletries as needed.
- Restock room supplies, including amenities and refreshments.
- Report maintenance issues and damages to management.
- Handle guest requests and complaints with professionalism.
- Maintain a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness.
- Follow safety and security procedures.
- Manage time effectively to complete tasks efficiently.
- Ensure all rooms meet the hotel’s quality standards.
- Be professional at all the times
- Be a positive ambassador of The NoMad throughout your professional career with us.
- Always adhere to company policies and procedures, including but not exclusive of; H&S policies, HR policies; employee handbook.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The main responsibilities of the Room Attendant are summarised as below; however, the list is not exhaustive :
Ensure high quality cleaning service at public areas of hotelFollow the priority of room cleaningClean rooms and public area according to the procedures and policies set by hotelKeep room attendants’ trolleys neat / clean and tidyMaintain cleaning equipment in good working conditionReport any loss / damage to linen, furniture, fixtures, or equipment to SupervisorUsing the right cleaning chemicals on all surface as per standardsCheck the vacuum cleaner and equipment dailyEnsure service area is well stocked with necessary products and cleaned alwaysReport issues such as equipment and light bulb damage promptly to supervisor or department manager for immediate actionReport and lost property found in the rooms and adhere to Lost and Found policy.Perform regular deep cleaning of all areas of hotel as instructedTo perform any additional task required as per business needs.Perform all duties with care towards our guests always ensuring the utmost guest satisfaction.Interact with guests in a caring respective and positive manner.To always follow H&S and Standard Operating Procedures.What We Offer
