The candidate will be working on various database related infrastructure / automation projects that will require development in python and ability to analyse scripts written in legacy languages like perl / ksh.

Morgan Stanley are looking for an experienced database engineer / infrastructure developer having practical experience with the NewSQL architecture and traditional RDBMS systems. The candidate will be working on various database related infrastructure / automation projects that will require development in python and ability to analyse scripts written in legacy languages like perl / ksh.

The candidate will be responsible for development, unit level testing and integration testing.

The team are looking for a results-driven individual who can complete tasks with minimal supervision, effectively communicating and liasing with the ops team. The candidate should have a strong track record of delivering projects on time and within budget. Understanding NewSQL, RDBMS and python scripting is a core requirement.

Primary Responsibilities

• Work in a globally distributed team to provide robust database platform solution on an internal cloud
• Design and deploy compliant infrastructure to integrate with the required Morgan Stanley controls.
• Investigate, debug and analyse any issues in raised production
• Ensure all changes are unit and integration tested.
