Product Design Engineer

Our client, a leading manufacturer with in-house production facilities, is currently seeking a Product Design Engineer to join their dynamic design and engineering team. This role offers a unique opportunity to be involved in designing both standard and custom product variants, as well as contributing to new product development initiatives. This position could suit either a recent graduate engineer looking to start their career or a more experienced engineer seeking a new challenge. Product Design Engineer Job Overview The successful candidate will be responsible for producing accurate, detailed design documentation to support efficient manufacturing operations, while ensuring compliance with relevant luminaire safety standards. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across design, production, and commercial functions. Key Responsibilities Create and maintain precise design data for standard products, custom variants, and new developments. Ensure designs comply with relevant safety and design standards, including BS EN (phone number removed). Work within established product guidelines to maintain consistency.
