Multi Trade Operative

Job Description

We are currently partnering with a large Housing Association based in South East London, who are recruiting for Multi-Trade Operatives with a Plumbing or Carpentry biased to join their growing team on a temporary to permanent basis.

This is a full-time working 42.5 hours per week, with a rate of pay being £26 - £30 per hour (subject to experience) and the start date is subject to notice.

A van and specialist tools will be provided!

Duties will include (but are not limited to) :

• Undertake patch repair to plaster by hacking off defective plaster and renew including all preparation and joints to existing surfaces
• Prepare walls and hang lining paper, woodchip or anaglypta up to 20m2
• Rub down and prepare walls, ceilings, woodwork and other painted surfaces to receive gloss or emulsion paint.
• Fencing, renew softwood rails, replace timber posts, renew rails, vertical boards, and gravel boards.
• Walls, rebuild lay new common bricks in half brick wall bedded and pointed
