Job description

Job Title : Registered Veterinary Nurse

Location : Cathcart and Winn - Farnham, Surrey

Salary : £28,000-£32,000 DOE

Job type : Permanent

Hours : 40 hour week. 1 : 4 Saturdays. 4 day working week. No OOH.

Here at Cathcart and Winn we hold a tier 3 hospital status and are proud to have a Silver ISFM accreditation alongside our Dog friendly accreditation. We are a Vets now host practice which means no OOH are required.

We strongly empower our veterinary nurses with a generous CPD allowance.

Our facilities comprise of :

In-house pharmacy

Large Central prep area

2 Theatres

Ultrasound

X-ray and imaging room

Video endoscope

Separate cat and dog waiting areas

A welcoming and friendly team

Regular visiting services include - Orthopaedic, laparoscopic and soft tissue surgeries, cardiology

Here at Cathcart and Winn we utilise our RVNs to their fullest potential encouraging their skills to be used to carry out schedule 3 procedures such as suturing, dental charting and scaling & polishing, and much more.

Your role

Cathcart and Winn in Farnham are looking for a dedicated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team of 5 vets, 5 RVNs, 1 SVN and 3 PCAs and 5 Client care advisors. Duties include daily monitoring of anaesthetics, schedule 3 procedures, nurse consults, hospital duties and general day to day practice.

We are looking for a self-motivated team player who is confident working independently and thrives in an active environment. Our vacancy is open to all levels of experience, from newly qualified to experienced veterinary nurses. We are looking for a nurse who strives for high quality care for their patients.
