Red Sky Personnel are working with a long-standing contractor renowned for delivering major infrastructure projects across the UK. We are currently looking for a Section Engineer to join their growing team on large-scale road schemes based in Suffolk, with wider works across East Anglia.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an engineer who thrives in a hands-on role and wants to be part of complex civils projects, especially in the highways and infrastructure space.
What You'll Be Doing
- Overseeing setting out and site engineering activities across key sections of work
- Interpreting and working from construction drawings and specifications
- Liaising with site and project management teams to deliver works safely and efficiently
- Supporting junior engineers with mentoring and technical guidance
- Managing service plans, drawings, and issuing permits
- Ensuring high standards of quality control and contributing to the completion of as-builts
- Identifying commercial opportunities or potential risks on your section of work
