Job Opportunity : Tutor for Local Council EHC Team

A Local Council EHC Team is seeking a Tutor to teach Maths & English to students who are unable to attend mainstream education. The Tutor will work 1 : 1 with students experiencing emotional-based school refusal, medical needs, or other SEND areas. This is a long-term role aimed at providing consistency and breaking down barriers to learning. Sessions can range from one to five hours per day, during or after school hours, depending on the student’s needs.

Requirements

• A teaching qualification
• Experience working with students with EHCPs
• Ability to plan and deliver Maths and English sessions
• A passion for making a difference in young people's lives
