Are you an experienced chef, used to catering for large groups of people, looking to design your own menus and cook with fresh seasonal food?

As a Chef in our homes, you’ll oversee all aspects of our kitchen and catering services, including managing a small team and ensuring the highest standards of nutrition, hygiene, and safety. You may occasionally cater for other day centres, luncheon clubs, and community activities, with some weekend work required.
Nutrition is a key element of our care package. You’ll be actively involved in meeting the nutritional needs of our residents to ensure a high-quality dining experience. Building relationships with residents and their families will help you understand and accommodate their personal preferences.

Location : The Lakes, a 64-bed Care Home in South Cerney, Cirencester, offering Day, Respite, Residential, and Dementia care in a homely setting.

ABOUT YOU
You should have previous experience working in a professional kitchen, catering for large numbers, with knowledge of menu planning for special diets. A Level 3 Diploma in Hospitality Supervision and Leadership or equivalent is preferred but not essential.
You’ll have experience leading and motivating a team, engaging with elderly residents to understand their needs, and managing budgets and stock effectively.
