We are recruiting for a talented Project Manager (Rail) to join the Delivery Team at Sizewell C.
This role will require travel to site locations, including Canary Wharf, Woodbridge, and Leiston.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop integrated multi-disciplinary solutions aligned with implementation plans.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders and deliver against project or PEP strategies.
- Represent the project in external stakeholder working groups.
- Ensure safe, on-time, and on-budget delivery of contract / package activities, meeting business, technical, and sustainability goals.
- Track and report project progress against milestones, deadlines, and budgets.
- Proactively manage risks, issues, and change control processes. Update budgets and escalate concerns as needed.
- Develop and maintain Level 3 schedules, ensuring alignment with overall project schedules. Escalate discrepancies appropriately.
- Review contractor Level 3 and 16-week rolling schedules.
- Manage and control the List of Deliverables (LOD) for the scope of work.
- Capture lessons learnt and embed continuous improvement.
- Manage interfaces and dependencies to support overall programme delivery.
- Ensure all contractual requirements are met and assured.
- Foster strong working relationships within the project team.
Qualifications and Experience
Degree and chartered status in engineering, construction, or a related field.Strong knowledge of CDM Regulations.Proven experience delivering multi-disciplinary rail projects in complex, dynamic environments with high safety, security, and environmental standards.Successful stakeholder engagement with Network Rail, local authorities, ORR, internal teams, alliance contractors, and community groups.Skilled in leading and coordinating multi-disciplinary solutions, managing discipline and project interfaces.Working knowledge of key railway and Network Rail standards and procedures, including GRIP, Engineering Management for Projects, AMP, and DWWP.Strong project, financial, and change management skills, with facilitation expertise.Proficient in estimating, scheduling, programming, and risk management tools.Experience managing contractors, consultants, and advisors on large, regulated construction projects, including NEC or FIDIC contracts.Competent with project data systems such as Outlook 365, Microsoft Teams, A-Site, Teamcenter, BIM federated models, and GIS.Hold a valid Personal Track Safety (PTS) qualification.Hold suitable CSCS certification.Salary and Benefits
Up to £89,000 per annum, with additional benefits to be discussed.
