We're looking for an experienced full-stack Python engineer to join us as the newest member of the Internal Tools mission is to deliver tools that maximise the effectiveness of employees at Lendable. The team supports both our Operations function and our knowledge workers (Product, Engineering and Data. We have a strong focus on both Generative AI / LLM adoption as well as more traditional web applications.

Using LLMs to provide a co-pilot for customer service agents, helping them get the right answer fasterDeploying an in-house hub for productivity tools, aiming to reduce the friction of accessing and using LLMs for employees.Delivering many smaller tools to replace manual processes in fraud, investor management, ops and elsewhereBut there is plenty more to do in this space and we're looking for someone who can get stuck in and deliver value in a rapidly evolving, and often ambiguous space, working closely with product and end-users to find impactful solutions.What we're looking for
Solid experience with Python in a web application context . You have some experience with web frameworks like FastAPI , Django or Flask , we use FastAPI .Experience with Javascript / Typescript and a modern JS framework such as React , Angular or . We generally use React & NextJSStrong engineering principles & practices : design patterns, testing, clean code and a good reviewerPrevious experience working in a product-focused teamA keen desire to want to learn and input into a highly collaborative teamA desire to learn about and experiment with Generative AI and LLMs (actual experience is a plus)The following are also a plus, but by no means essential.
