Description

The role of digital learning designer is to design and deliver Breedon’s digital training and learning initiatives. This role will support the Digital L&D Lead in creating and deploying a range of digital assets to support our legal compliance, Training and Competence and Management Essentials programmes.

Key Accountabilities :

  • Collaborate to design, develop, and launch new digital learning experiences across the business.
  • Design a suite of learning. This will include technical and compliance / mandatory based training as well as skills and behavioural learning.
  • Determine appropriate technology platform, resource or course design, and instruction delivery options based on learning needs, subject matter, and target audience.
  • Utilise variety of authoring and design software and multimedia tools to develop high-quality digital learning, visuals for slide decks, video, and audio resources, HTLM web pages, print and communications following L&D brand guidelines.
  • Establish strong relationships within the team and wider business to ensure that any new digital learning and communication initiatives meet stakeholder requirements.
  • Broad experience and accomplishment in using a range of content authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline and Rise, Adapt Builder, and other web-based authoring tools. Also, be familiar with SCORM / HTML5 publishing to LMS systems.
  • Ability to record and edit corporate training videos.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and project management skills - interacting confidently, building relationships across all areas of the organisation, and effectively managing multiple projects at once.
  • Ability to work under pressure, problem-solve, prioritise workload and adapt to changing circumstances.

Strengths you'll bring :

  • Energy to work as a self-starter, and the ability to work collaboratively with remote teams
  • Adobe creative programmes (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Adobe Animate, Premiere Pro, Audacity or similar)
  • Design digital learning using authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline 360 and Rise 360
  • Experience with video recording and editing
  • Experience with animation tools like Vyond
  • Experience in storyboarding and building alongside SMEs
  • Experience of SCORM 1.2, 2004 and xAPI
  • Some HTML and CSS experience would be beneficial
