Job Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Lead Fatigue & Damage Tolerance Engineer to join the A220 Wing Engineering team in Belfast. You will be joining a collaborative team of structural engineers, technical specialists and engineering leads, dedicated to delivering innovative solutions for Airbus Wing products. With a wealth of experience and knowledge, we offer a supportive environment for both technical and personal development. Our strategy is centred on continuous growth through hands-on experience, formal training, and cross-programme opportunities. We're committed to upskilling in areas such as programming, FEM, and automation, in line with Airbus' digitalisation goals. How You Will Contribute To The Team

• Lead the technical scope of F&DT projects, providing guidance to engineers and suppliers, and liaising with key stakeholders including Chief Engineers and Technical Authorities.
• Define and update certification methods for Outer Wing structures, ensuring compliance and innovation.
• Approve F&DT deliverables and resolve technical issues using appropriate analysis techniques.
• Act as a focal point for Wing-related F&DT matters across engineering and airworthiness teams.
• Support the development of team members and contribute to the modernisation and digital transformation of our products and processes.
