A bit about us
We have an opening for two Veterinary Surgeons to join us on a permanent basis at our busy Greater Manchester Animal Hospital . If you are looking for some flexibility to fit in with your home life, we can offer great hours (35 hour working week) with roughly half of shifts finishing at 4pm!
Working hours : Day shifts 8am - 4pm
Float shift 10am - 6pm
Participating in a weekend rota, working 1 in 7 weekends, with time off in lieu.
At RSPCA we are invested in learning and growth so you will receive training in new skills such as forensics, cruelty case work and the implementation of shelter medicine. The opening also offers the opportunity to work closely with our Inspectorate and to be involved with new projects to improve animal welfare and make an impact on society wide protocols and policies.
About Greater Manchester Animal Hospital
The RSPCA Greater Manchester Animal Hospital, based in Salford, is a vibrant hospital which can accommodate up to 103 animals at any one time. Our expert team provides life saving veterinary care to thousands of animals rescued by RSPCA frontline officers and provide vital support to rescued animals being cared for at RSPCA centres. We do not provide routine treatment for people's pets.
What a day might look like for you
Successful candidates for certain RSPCA roles may need to undergo a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
Applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK as we are unable to sponsor visas at RSPCA.
