Blue Arrow Derby are proud to be working in partnership with our client based in Derby, they are looking to recruit a Senior Geotechnical Site Technician to join their team on a full time, permanent basis.
Salary : £29,725 - £32,800 DOE
Working Hours : 38.75 hours per week - Monday to Friday, primarily site-based with some work at another site. Opportunity for paid overtime, with occasional weekend work required
About the job :
- Carry out geotechnical site and laboratory testing
- Maintaining competency / authorisation for the necessary range of test procedures
- Ensure equipment is in current calibration and pre-test checks are completed
- Ensure that test equipment is checked regularly and functioning correctly, and that any failures, defects or damage is reported
- Use and maintain equipment with all due care and ensure that weekly checks are carried out
- Ensure that all necessary test information, results and QC data are recorded in the manner required by current procedures
- Maintain good site working practice at all times
