Role Overview
As part of Albany Beck’s growing Change & Transformation practice, you will be deployed onsite with a prestigious Wealth Management client to deliver a new Financial Planning (FP) system, Iress X-plan, as a core component of their Wealth Advice proposition. This role offers a unique opportunity to influence strategic change within a regulated, client-facing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead delivery of the X-plan system into the Wealth Advice business operating model
- Manage stakeholders across Business Change and Front Office
- Oversee and coordinate Business Analysts and contribute to hands-on analysis where required
- Drive definition and management of the Target Operating Model (TOM)
- Provide oversight of testing activity (UAT, functional, regression)
- Lead or contribute to the creation and delivery of training materials
- Ensure alignment with regulatory and business needs across all stages
Key Skills and Experience
Extensive experience in Financial Planning / Regulated Advice environments, ideally within large banks or independent financial advisersStrong understanding of Financial Planning lifecycle : product selection, implementation, fee structure, and reconciliationDemonstrated Project Management delivery in complex change environmentsPrevious exposure to Operating Model designHands-on or oversight experience in Business Analysis, especially relating to system implementationProven ability to manage testing oversight across testing and business teamsExperience in training material design and deliveryDesired Skills :
Strong organisational and planning abilityConfident communication across exec-level and matrix stakeholdersAgile in managing shifting priorities and hands-on problem solvingCollaborative team player with a client-first approach
