Pre-Construction Project Manager

The Role :

They are now in a position to add a Pre-Construction Project Manager to their team based in the North West of England.

Typically, you will be responsible for one large scheme or a couple of smaller value projects.

You will ensure that your projects progress to agreed timescales by updating the project tracker, managing the preconstruction design programme and project team, chairing and minuting client and internal meetings, appointing the design team, disseminating relevant information, and ensuring good communication and collaboration. You will also manage and control costs, work with the bid team analyzing tender documents to understand requirements, collaborate with the Estimating team to appoint contractors, and serve as the key contact for clients.

The role offers the opportunity to work across all areas of work-winning by bringing together persuasive bids.

You will work closely with design managers, estimators, planners, bid managers, and the technical & operational delivery teams.

Ongoing support and development will be provided by the Pre-Construction Manager and Directors.

You :

They seek someone with a Construction / Project Management or Design Management background (Contractor or Consultancy).

You need to be based in or able to commute to the North West of England.

You should be IT literate and possess good communication skills.
