Vehicle Technician & MOT Tester - Birstall, West Yorkshire £30,000 Salary - £35,000 + OTE

• A well-established and respected garage in West Yorkshire, is seeking a highly competent and experienced Vehicle Technician & MOT Tester to join our team. • Responsibilities :
• Diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicle faults, including engine, transmission, brakes, suspension, and electrical systems.
• Carry out routine servicing, including oil changes, filter replacements, and brake checks.
• Conduct thorough MOT tests in accordance with DVSA regulations.
• Accurately record all work carried out and maintain clear and concise paperwork.
• Advise customers on necessary repairs and maintenance requirements.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Work effectively as part of a team.
• Qualifications & Experience :
• Essential :
• Level 3 NVQ in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent.
• Current MOT Test Licence.
• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Desirable :
• Experience in a fast-paced garage environment.
• Knowledge of various vehicle makes and models.
• Familiarity with vehicle diagnostic equipment.
• Clean driving licence.
