Commissioning Engineer

V7 are working with a longstanding client in the Water industry who are an Engineering specialist and currently recruiting for a Commissioning Engineer due to extensive growth. On offer is a salary of circa £48,000 plus benefits. You will be responsible for the following :

• Ensure all Commissioning documentation is properly completed / recorded and stored.
• Assisting the with Commissioning Coordinator progress on each contract by attending meetings or discussions with the departments concerned.
• Be involved in creating technical documents e.g. : Method Statements, Risk Assessments, Commissioning & Test Plans / Sheets, Training Plans / Manuals
• Timely submission and completion of all relevant documents, including reports, technical data, ‘As Built’ drawings, along with Commissioning and Training schedules, as agreed with the customer and Commissioning Coordinator.
• Carry out Mechanical and Electrical commissioning & fault finding on site in the UK and overseas, as required.
• Carry out small scale Mechanical and Electrical Installation works in support of the Installation Teams. Candidate Requirements :
• Time served Electrician.
• Electrical Inspection & Testing Trained.
• Experience working in a Field Service role.
• Proven knowledge of Health & Safety requirements on Construction Sites (in particular Working with Electricity)
• Understanding of current Wiring Regulations....
