Our client is an award-winning, multidisciplinary design consultancy currently looking to recruit a Civil Design Engineer with 5+ years of experience.

Your role will involve completing drainage design for various residential and commercial projects based in Ireland.

This position is remote, as the projects are based in Ireland.

Role

The civil engineer shall ensure that design works meet the client’s requirements.

Essential Skills and Knowledge

BEng (Level 8) in Civil Engineering or equivalent
5+ years’ experience in civil design, including roads and drainage
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A proactive attitude and commitment to high-quality service
Knowledge of UK, Irish, and European codes
Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, or similar software
Proficiency in MS Word and Excel
Eligibility to work in the UK

Desirable Skills and Knowledge

Knowledge of civil engineering products (e.g., drainage, road design pipes, manholes, shafts, cover slabs)

Membership or progress towards membership of a professional institution (e.g., ICE), with an interest in becoming a Chartered Engineer
