Senior Mechanical Design Engineer – Hydrogen & Clean Energy Technology
Location : East Yorkshire
Join a pioneering engineering team driving the development of cutting-edge hydrogen and carbon capture technologies. We're looking for a Senior Design Engineer to lead the conceptual and mechanical design of high-temperature pressure vessels and complex machined assemblies, supporting the transition to clean energy.
Key Responsibilities :
- Research and develop novel technologies in hydrogen production and gas separation.
- Create conceptual and detailed mechanical designs in line with ASME and other industry standards.
- Conduct simulations (FEA / CFD using Ansys / COMSOL), analysis, and testing to validate new designs.
- Collaborate across R&D, electrical, and application engineering teams.
- Lead design authority, overseeing technical documentation, calculations, and project delivery.
- Engage with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and customers to drive innovation from concept to commissioning.
