Our client is a successful ladies' supplier looking to grow their design team and is seeking to recruit a junior designer to work across woven multi-product ranges. The company supplies large fashion retailers in the UK.
If you are trend-led, with a creative and commercial eye, and possess a young to mid-market handwriting, and are looking for career progression, this is a great opportunity.
Main responsibilities will include :
- Researching, developing, and creating market-leading woven ranges.
- Identifying and executing new product opportunities.
- Liaising with overseas factories and maintaining relationships.
- Working closely with factories in Bangladesh.
- Attending customer meetings when required.
- Producing accurate and detailed CAD drawings and tech packs.
- Overseeing sampling development and ensuring deadlines are met.
- Sourcing new fabrics, techniques, and trims.
