  • There are two LGV driver "E" grade level positions with 36-hour contracts, with up to 10 hours paid overtime. Applications are reviewed and interviews are offered on a rolling basis until all positions are filled.

Oxfam Purpose : To work with others to overcome poverty and suffering.

Team's purpose : To process surplus textiles to maximize income from donated goods.

Job purpose : To collect and deliver surplus stock from collection points within shops / depots and / or deliver processed stock to customers.

Dimensions :

  • Collect surplus stock from Oxfam shops & donation banks and / or deliver processed stock to customers.
  • Perform tasks set by Manager / Coordinator.
  • Responsible for vehicle and equipment used in daily work.
  • Carry out tasks respecting legislation and Health & Safety standards.
  • Provide clear information to colleagues, coordinators, and occasionally the public.

    • Key Responsibilities :

  • Ensure timely and safe loading, collection, and delivery of products.
  • Maintain the vehicle to standards set by VOSA and the client.
  • Carry out duties safely and correctly.
  • Complete required paperwork daily.
  • Perform daily vehicle checks for safety and roadworthiness.
  • Work in compliance with EU Drivers hours & WTD legislation.
  • Maintain professional standards of service and uphold Oxfam’s reputation.

  • Drivers CPC qualification (E)

    • Other :

    Adhere to all Department of Transport driver regulations and vehicle / road safety standards.
