Strategy Director

We’re seeking a commercially astute and strategically minded Strategy Director to join a high-impact Corporate Development team. This is a unique opportunity to shape the long-term direction of a global business, working directly with executive leadership on high-priority initiatives. You’ll play a key role in strategic planning, market intelligence, and corporate-level prioritization—bringing clarity to complexity and helping drive decisions that define the future. This is a key role in a senior team, and is an individual contributor, so it is essential that you are willing to be hands-on and able to deliver without the support of direct reports. Key Responsibilities Supporting the SVP Strategy & Corporate Development in the development and refinement of long-term corporate strategy in collaboration with the Executive Committee and senior leaders. Evaluate growth opportunities, competitive positioning, and industry dynamics. Drive the annual strategic planning process and develop a five-year strategic plan and financial model. Deliver data-driven insights, scenario analysis, and strategic recommendations. Monitor macroeconomic trends and competitor activity to inform strategic direction. Develop investment theses and strategic rationales for organic growth and M&A. Partner with Investor Relations to align internal and external strategic messaging. What We’re Looking For 7–12 years’ experience in strategy consulting only, or consulting combined with corporate strategy (ideally within industrials or adjacent sectors). Proven track record in strategic planning, business analysis, and cross-functional leadership. Strong analytical and commercial acumen with the ability to distil complex issues into actionable insights. Executive presence and communication skills, with experience influencing senior stakeholders. Proactive, resourceful, and thrives in a lean, high-performing team.
