General Assistant

Position : General Assistant (RP013410)

Hours per week : 13.5 hours (4 hours Wednesday, 4 hours Thursday, 5 hours every other Sunday)

Pay rate : £13.02 per hour

The Hive @ the Jim McDonald Centre is a busy community leisure facility offering sport & leisure facilities to the whole community. As a hive of activity, there is always something going on, from fitness classes and sport groups to birthday parties and children’s holiday activities.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and confident person to join our team. Your responsibilities will include making delicious coffees, serving cooked food, ensuring high standards of customer service, and maintaining a safe and clean environment with good hygiene and end-of-day cleaning. Additional hours may be available to cover holiday periods.

It is essential that you have experience dealing with customers and the ability to communicate effectively with our diverse community, from the very young to the elderly.
