Technical Architect – Identity & Access Management - Up to £75k + 25% bonus
We’re partnered with a well-regarded UK-based consultancy expanding its External Identity capability. They're looking for a hands-on Technical Architect with strong experience in Identity & Access Management (IAM) and cloud-based authentication to help design, build, and deliver secure external user identity solutions.
You’ll play a key role in shaping client architectures, working closely with developers and stakeholders to deliver modern, standards-based solutions across a range of industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and define secure IAM architectures for external user platforms
- Lead technical delivery of identity solutions using Microsoft cloud technologies
- Implement features hands-on (C#, .NET, Azure AD B2C / B2B, custom APIs)
- Contribute to project planning, timelines, and technical documentation
- Support occasional pre-sales work and proposal input
- Act as a subject matter expert on identity standards and practices
- Mentor team members and contribute to knowledge sharing
Required Experience
Strong hands-on experience with Azure Active Directory , especially B2C or B2B implementationsSolid programming background in C# , .NET , ASP.NET CoreFamiliarity with OAuth 2.0 , OpenID Connect , and SAML protocolsWeb development understanding (HTML, CSS, JavaScript / TypeScript)SQL Server experience and database integration skillsComfortable working in Agile / Scrum teamsStrong written and verbal communication skillsAdditional Requirements
Candidates must hold active Security Clearance (SC) or be eligible to obtain SC clearanceEligibility requires having lived in the UK for the last 5 years , with no more than 30 consecutive days outside the UK during that periodCandidates must have the full right to work in the UK without sponsorshipDesirable Skills
Familiarity with identity platforms like Auth0 , Okta , or IdentityServerBroader knowledge of the Microsoft stack (Blazor, App Services, Graph API)Previous consultancy or client-facing experienceAbility to lead small technical teams or projectsAdditional Details
The role is primarily remote, but occasional and sporadic visits to client sites are required to support end-user engagements and project needs.The performance bonus is linked to billable hours spent directly with clients, rewarding your active contribution to delivery.What You’ll Get
