Pay rate : £39.43 per hour

Vitalis is recruiting an experienced Social Worker to join the Family Safeguarding Team in Somerset.

We offer an exciting opportunity for an experienced Social Worker to be part of our Family Safeguarding South Somerset team. Our approach focuses on improving outcomes for vulnerable young people and families. We have embedded the innovative Family Safeguarding model, working alongside adult-focused practitioners to access interventions in substance misuse, domestic abuse, and mental health, which inform assessments and plans. You will also have access to expertise in child exploitation from the Wider Safeguarding Team. Manageable caseloads will enable you to be an innovative and creative social worker, supporting direct work with children to hear their voices and understand their experiences. You will work with parents, the wider family network, and the whole system in a strengths-based way to support change. You will be supported by permanent Team Managers, Consultant Social Workers, and an established senior leadership team, with regular and reflective supervision.
