Our Client is seeking an experienced Crime Solicitor with a minimum of 2 years' PQE to join their dynamic Criminal Defence team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven and passionate solicitor to take on a varied caseload, represent clients at police stations and in court, and play a key role in delivering high-quality legal services. Crime Solicitor Key Responsibilities :
- Represent clients at police stations, magistrates’ courts, and Crown Courts.
- Manage a full and varied caseload of criminal matters from start to finish.
- Participate in the duty solicitor rota.
- Advise clients on all aspects of criminal law including interviews under caution, bail applications, and trial preparation.
- Liaise with external agencies including the CPS, police, and counsel.
- Ensure accurate file management, time recording, and compliance with the Legal Aid Agency requirements. Requirements of the Crime Solicitor :
