Fire and Security Service Supervisor – Southend-on-Sea - £35,000
My client is a well-established and reputable fire & security service provider who covers London and the home counties. They are now seeking a service supervisor to join their team.
Salary Package :
- 30,000 - £35,000
- Mon-Fri, 8am – 5pm
- 20 Days Plus Bank Holidays, Birthday Off (1 additional day per years’ service)
- Onsite parking
Duties :
Fulfil the responsibilities of a Lead Service Coordinator when required, including providing cover during periods of annual leaveAct as Service Manager in their absence to ensure continuity of leadershipOffer guidance, mentorship, and training to Lead Coordinators to support their professional developmentCollaboratewith other departments and personnel to effectively resolve operational issuesProvide oversight and direction to both Lead Coordinators and Service CoordinatorsProduce regular reports and updates for designated clients, and represent the department in client meetingsMonitor, analyse, and report on team performance metrics and trendsDeliver constructive feedback on individual staff performance to support improvement and developmentManage escalated matters related to the service department, both internally and externallyConduct return-to-work interviews, probationary reviews, and development meetings in conjunction with the Service ManagerAllocate and prioritize workloads for Lead Coordinators to ensure timely and effective task completionWork alongside the Service Manager to identify and implement strategies for improving departmental efficiency and profitabilityPerform quality assurance checks on individual outputs, using results to provide tailored coaching and guidanceDesign, implement, and revise internal processes to optimize service deliveryDevelop and update comprehensive training materials and documentationSupport the recruitment process for departmental office roles, including CV screening, virtual interviews, and in-person assessmentsParticipate in senior-level meetings, such as monthly service management reviews and Integrated Delivery Meetings (IDMs)Person Specification :
