Job description

LOCATION : Thistles Shopping Centre, Stirling

PAY RATE : £12.71 per hour

SHIFT PATTERN : varies over 7 days, 18 hours per week

ROLE OVERVIEW AND PURPOSE

We are looking to appoint a proactive Relief Security Officer with customer service at the forefront of all they do to maintain a safe and secure shopping environment for all our customers and staff. This is a permanent contract covering holidays with advanced notification of shifts. SIA DS or SG Licence required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Carry out daily / weekly / monthly duties as outlined in the site Assignment Instructions
  • Be present on the mall to ensure a safe and secure environment is maintained
  • Conduct patrols covering all areas of the shopping mall and service yards
  • Take an active role in emergency situations including first aid and fire warden
  • Oversee external contractor management to ensure safe working practices

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Enjoy working part of a team as well as the ability to work independently to reach the shared goal
  • Good communication skills both written and verbal to assist with accurate report writing
  • Smart, well-groomed and confident
  • High level of customer care awareness
  • SIA Door Supervisor / Security Guard licence
