Join a leading name in the UK Civil Engineering sector and a key player in infrastructure delivery and take the lead on a range of exciting current and uing infrastructure projects across Cumbria. Delivering one of the UK’s most significant infrastructure upgrades – the A66 Northern Trans-Pennine project. With a project value of £120 million, this scheme will transform connectivity across the North of England. We are seeking an experienced Site Engineer to lead the successful delivery of this major highways scheme based in Penrith.

Your new role :

As Site Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting the construction team with technical input, quality assurance, and site coordination. You will ensure that works are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with design specifications.

Key Responsibilities :

• Set out and survey works in accordance with project drawings and specifications.
• Ensure quality control andpliance with technical standards.
• Assist in the preparation of method statements, risk assessments, and site documentation.
• Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and the wider project team to ensure smooth site operations.
• Maintain accurate site records, including daily diaries and as-built information.
• Support the resolution of technical issues and contribute to design coordination.
• Promote and uphold health, safety, and environmental standards on site.
