We're recruiting on behalf of a leading supplier in their field who are looking for a proactive Account Manager to their growing team in Henfield.
Role Overview :
As Account Manager, you'll act as the main point of contact for key customers and accounts - handling everything from enquiries and quotes to maintaining relationships and identifying new opportunities. You'll play a vital role in both retaining existing business and securing new clients through outbound sales activity, networking, and trade event attendance.
Key Responsibilities :
- Be the primary point of contact for key customers and account enquiries
- Provide quotes and follow up to convert into sales
- Resolve any issues around pricing or delivery with professionalism
- Maintain and grow strong relationships with customers to retain business
- Attend customer meetings, industry trade shows, and networking events
- Make outbound sales calls to generate new business opportunities
- Upsell and cross-sell products based on customer needs
- Support commercial pricing decisions through negotiation and customer insight
The Ideal Candidate :
Proven experience in sales and customer service, ideally with telesales exposureExcellent communication, negotiation, and time management skillsA proactive and flexible attitude, with willingness to travel for off-site meetings and industry eventsExperience in or knowledge of the electrical sector is a bonus but not essentialWhat's on Offer :
