Job description

Responsibilities :

  • Architect : Design and own the scalable, serverless architecture that powers tem-energy’s neo-utility platform
  • Take Down Barriers : Break product epics into technical work, estimate scope, and iterate with Product & Design on a regular basis to enable your team to ship faster, by reducing ambiguity and providing technical expertise
  • Guide : Lead four-to-six engineers through C4 architecture diagrams and flows, code reviews, pair-sessions and AI-assisted development best practices
  • Maintain : Drive platform reliability (SLOs, cost optimisation, incident reviews) and continuous delivery
  • Raise the Bar : Champion a culture of learning, experimentation and clean energy impact across the guild

Requirements :

  • 10+ years building & shipping cloud products end-to-end, from concept → architecture → production
  • Deep AWS serverless expertise (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, Step Functions) and mastery of Python with strong emphasis on data processing
  • Comfort owning architecture, operations, IaC (Terraform or SLS) and CI / CD in a remote, high-trust environment
  • Proven record of mentoring engineers and setting engineering standards on distributed teams
  • Daily user of AI coding assistants (e.g. Copilot) and experienced embedding LLM workflows (LangChain, Bedrock, Vector DBs) to lift team productivity

    • Desirable :

  • Strong DevOps & observability chops
  • Domain knowledge in Energy or FinTech sector
  • Has worked in fully-remote, product-oriented teams shipping consumer-facing platforms
