Customer Service Coordinator

Salary- £25,500 per annum plus generous benefits

Maidstone – free parking on site

Full time- permanent

Our client, a well-established and supportive business, is seeking a motivated Customer Service Coordinator to join their friendly team. This is a fantastic role offering strong progression opportunities, and a positive working environment — with no weekend work.

Key duties include :

  • Serve as a key point of contact for customer and supplier inquiries, ensuring clear and timely communication at all times.
  • Investigate and resolve customer concerns swiftly, using initiative to deliver effective solutions.
  • Support internal collaboration by liaising with teams across the business, including sales, marketing, and technical departments, to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Stay well-informed about current products, services, and any promotional offers in order to provide accurate and relevant information.
  • Contribute to a supportive and motivated team culture by actively engaging with colleagues and maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Participate in the onboarding and development of new team members, sharing knowledge and best practices.
  • Assist the Customer Service Manager in identifying areas for process improvement and implementing more efficient working methods.
  • Take ownership of ongoing issues, ensuring they are followed through to resolution without unnecessary delay.

Essential Requirements :

  • Previous office-based customer service or admin experience is necessary
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Experience in using different systems and platforms
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • A positive, can-do attitude and eagerness to learn
  • Confidence working as part of a team in a busy office environment
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
