Job Description
We are currently recruiting for a Process Operative at our Telford site within the Muller Yogurts and Desserts business unit. The role involves operating and managing the designated plant, achieving daily operational targets, and maintaining GMP standards within the process department.
Contract : Permanent, Full-time
Location : Telford
Shifts : 4 on 4 off, 12-hour shifts (days and nights 6-6)
Salary : £31,079 per annum plus 1x5 overtime rate
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver the daily production plan
- Operate plant / equipment and perform routine basic maintenance
- Achieve daily KPI targets
- Collaborate with Key Operators to carry out start-up procedures, ensuring good manufacturing practices, housekeeping, hygiene, and health and safety standards
- Ensure effective handovers between shifts, remaining on line until relieved
- Monitor product quality, identify non-conformance, and take corrective actions
- Ensure SIC and Quality data are accurate, complete, and timely
- Complete and maintain all documentation
- Train operators and ensure competence in their roles
- Lead by example, promoting behavioral standards aligned with company values
- Comply with food safety requirements, control CCPs, and follow site quality procedures
- Maintain GMP standards and seek continuous improvement
- Prioritize health, safety, and welfare for oneself and others
- Perform other duties within skills and abilities as reasonably instructed
- Promote and adhere to all company policies, procedures, and values
