HGV Class 2 Day Driver

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Sheffield area. We are looking for experienced HGV Class 2 Drivers (CAT C) to join the team on days.

• Please note that this role will be starting WC 23 / 06 / 2025
• Hours : 4 shifts per week across Monday to Friday , 08 : 00-09 : 00 starts (average of 10-hour shifts). Pay Rate : £15.28 per hour PAYE. Location : Sheffield, S35. Job Type : Long term ongoing role with permanent contract available for the right candidates. The role : Physically demanding role

you'll be responsible for loading and unloading your own vehicle. Equipment provided : tail lift and pump truck. Up to 35 drops / collections maximum All local runs, staying within a 30-mile radius of the depot. You'll use your phone to download the companys app for managing collections. No assessment required! Simply attend an informal chat with the client, followed by a short induction on your start date. Requirements : Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement (category C) - 1 year on licence required . Having a Class 1 licence would be beneficial Have proven experience driving the relevant vehicle. Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card. No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only). Be accustomed to a manually intensive role as this role can be quite demanding. Full understanding of WTD legislation.
