Catering Assistant - Maternity Leave Cover

Working Hours : Part time, Monday - Friday 10.15am - 1.30pm

Number of Positions : 1

Qualifications Required :   Level 2 Food Hygiene or equivalent (not essential training provided)

Salary : Grade 1 £22,366 per annum pro rata

Start Date : 1st September 2024 The Governors of St Clement’s C.E Primary School are seeking applications for a Catering Assistant.

We are looking for a team player who is hard working, enthusiastic and reliable.

You will be assisting the kitchen manager with all kitchen duties; kitchen porter duties may also be expected.

Main duties include :

• Food prep
• Food service
• Basic cooking
• Cleaning all food stations
• Pot washing
• Ensuring all food stock is in date and meeting health and safety regulations

This is a great opportunity for someone who would like to get his or her foot in the door with cook work and would like the opportunity to progress.
