Busy Sales Admin role

Full-time

Hours Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm or 8 : 30am - 5 : 30pm

100% Office based, not hybrid (South Sheffield location - ideal for candidates living in Sheffield South, Eckington, Halfway, North East Derbyshire, Chesterfield)

Temporary to permanent - Immediate start needed

Your new role

We are supporting a fantastic business that is keen to appoint a Sales Support Administrator with immediate effect due to growth. This role is based in a close-knit team and is temporary with the possibility of becoming permanent. The successful candidate will join a busy Sales Support Team providing support to UK-based customers and internal Sales / Account Managers. Candidates should have excellent sales or business administration skills and be able to demonstrate this on application.

This is an excellent opportunity with clear progression pathways into roles such as Account Manager or Projects.

Responsibilities include :

  • Acting as a Sales Support Administrator to assist customers with sales orders
  • Supporting sales admin tasks for internal colleagues, Account Managers, and Business Managers
  • Using CRM and Sage 200 to process customer sales orders (no selling involved), checking order information, and updating customers on order status
  • Producing customer order quotes (training provided) and entering them into the system
  • Collaborating with the estimating team on admin tasks like proposal creation and communication drafts for projects
  • Managing inbox queries from customers
  • General admin duties
  • Using MS Office, CRM, Sage

Requirements

  • Local to the area of the organization
  • Recent experience in sales admin, customer service admin, or business support
  • Ability to start quickly
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office
