Location : Edinburgh (and surrounding area)

Salary : £30,000 – £35,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Contract : Permanent, full-time

Working Hours : Monday to Friday, 09 : 00 – 17 : 00

Leave : 30 days including bank holidays

Driving Licence : Required

We are working with a dynamic and growing third-party client based in Edinburgh who is seeking a CAD Designer to join their innovative operations team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and adaptable individual who is eager to grow their technical skills and contribute to an exciting range of projects across multiple sectors including Oil & Gas, Mining, Power Generation, and Civil Infrastructure.

About the Role :

This is a varied and hands-on position where you will do much more than produce technical drawings. You’ll work closely with clients to understand their needs, develop practical CAD solutions, and help deliver bespoke access systems. This includes engaging directly with clients via Teams or site visits, preparing quotes based on your designs, and collaborating with the wider team to ensure successful delivery.

If you have additional skills such as animation or visualisation, those would be a welcome bonus.

Key Responsibilities :

• Liaise directly with clients to understand project requirements
• Attend virtual meetings and on-site visits across the UK
• Create high-quality CAD design solutions to meet client needs
• Prepare quotes based on your designs and support the sales process
