Job Title : Welder Fabricator - Truck Body Builder (MIG & Aluminium Welding experience)

Location : Sheffield

Weekly pay rate : Working Hours :

Monday to Thursday : 07 : 00 – 16 : 00
Friday : 07 : 00 – 15 : 00
Total : 39 hours per week
Overtime available, paid at time and a half

Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Welder Fabricator with proven experience in MIG and Aluminium welding to join our team. This is a full-time, permanent position following a successful 3-month probationary period. The ideal candidate will take pride in their craftsmanship and have the ability to work from SolidWorks drawings (preferred but not essential).

Key Responsibilities :

Fabricate and assemble truck bodies to high standards using MIG and Aluminium welding techniques

Work from technical drawings and specifications (SolidWorks experience preferred)

Operate workshop tools and machinery safely and efficiently

Ensure builds meet quality, safety, and customer specifications

Maintain a clean and organised work environment

Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets

Requirements :

Proven experience in MIG and Aluminium welding

Experience building truck bodies or similar fabrications

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings (SolidWorks preferred)

Good attention to detail and strong work ethic

Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious

Must provide your own safety boots (all other PPE and tools provided)
