Site Manager(Civils and Industrial)

Excellent opportunity to join a leading Civils and Industrial Contractor working on a variety of industrial and civils schemes around the area. Schemes with come with steel frames, extensive deep drainage, groundworks, highways, hard landscaping and 278 works.

Values from £1 to £10m.

Duties will include :

• Delivery of the contract within programme and budget.
• Control and management of sub contract resources to the highest levels of safety, quality and efficiency.
• The continuous monitoring of contract progress to ensure contract objectives are being met.
• Ensuring that, in conjunction with the Project Delivery Team, changes to the contract are identified, agreed and effectively managed.

Must have :

Duties

Supervise and manage a team of workers to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and safely.

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations on-site.

Maintain a clean and organised work environment.

Liaise with project managers to report progress and address any issues that arise during the project.

Assist in training new staff members in safe working practices and operational procedures.

Requirements

Proven experience in groundworks or a related field is essential.

Strong supervisory skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.

Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to construction sites.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

A valid driver’s licence may be required for site travel.
