    Role Summary : BMS Design Engineer

    Due to continued success and project expansion, our client is seeking a skilled BMS Design Engineer to support the delivery of medium to large-scale projects across the UK. The role involves end-to-end BMS system design-from initial scope through to final handover documentation. This includes creating control strategies, panel designs, hardware and software architecture, and graphical interface packages.

    This is a technically autonomous role requiring a sound understanding of mechanical and electrical systems within modern building environments. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring designs are efficient, functional, and aligned to client specifications.

    Key Responsibilities :

    • Develop detailed BMS designs from client specifications
    • Create control panel designs, hardware configurations, and software / graphics packages
    • Coordinate across internal teams and external suppliers to ensure project alignment
    • Conduct site surveys and support project engineering across different stages
    • Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and safety protocols
    • Author BMS system strategy documents and handover packs
    • Candidate Requirements :

    • Minimum HNC qualification in a relevant engineering discipline
    • Proven experience in BMS / control system design (including Siemens, Trend, or Honeywell systems)
    • Strong knowledge of both mechanical and electrical building systems
    • Competency in conducting site surveys and working with live equipment
    • Comfortable with hybrid working and occasional site visits
    • Strong team player with initiative and excellent problem-solving skills
    • Right to work in the UK and willing to undergo security screening
