Court of Protection Paralegal

Court of Protection Paralegal Location : Altrincham (Hybrid – 1 day per week in the office) Salary : £26,000 per annum Job Type : Full-time, Permanent An exciting opportunity has become available for a Court of Protection Paralegal to join a Legal 500-recognised team based in Altrincham. This is a hybrid role with just one day per week in the office, offering excellent flexibility and a chance to develop your career within a highly respected legal practice. The Role : As a Court of Protection Paralegal, you’ll support senior fee earners and solicitors with a range of client matters, primarily involving property and financial affairs for clients lacking mental capacity. You’ll be involved in :

• Preparing and submitting Court of Protection applications
• Drafting legal documents and correspondence
• Liaising with clients, families, medical professionals and the Office of the Public Guardian
• Supporting deputyship administration, including annual reports
• Managing case files and maintaining accurate records Requirements :
• Minimum 6 months’ experience in a Court of Protection or Private Client role (essential)
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage a busy workload
• A proactive, professional, and compassionate approach
• A legal qualification (LLB, LPC or similar) is desirable but not essential Benefits :
