Job Description
JOB- Graduate Design Engineer
LOCATION- Manchester
TERM- Permanent
SALARY- £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, dependent on experience
My client designs, manufactures, and services a range of industrial air conveyance systems. They are looking for a Graduate Design Engineer to join their team in Manchester on a permanent basis.
The Graduate Design Engineer will ideally have the following attributes :
- Degree : BSc / BEng qualification in Mechanical Design Engineering or similar
- 0-2 years or more industry experience
- Proficiency with 3D CAD software—ideally SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, etc.
- Ability to carry out mechanical calculations
- Previous experience working with machinery and automated systems is beneficial
- Ability to work well individually and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Keen to develop with the company long-term
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
