An exciting opportunity has arisen for two LOLER Technicians to join Glasgow City Health and Social Care Partnership’s (GCHSCP) Community Equipment Service, which operates on behalf of multiple local authorities throughout Scotland and NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde. In addition to the supply, delivery, installation, recycling and maintenance of community equipment, the service is also responsible for the Thorough Examination of equipment in line with Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations (LOLER). Reporting directly to the Technical Supervisor, you will be primarily responsible for ensuring carrying out Thorough Examinations of equipment in line with LOLER. These will be undertaken in both the field and within the community equipment store. You will be required to review equipment and determine whether they should be repaired, recycled or scrapped. You will be expected to project and promote a professional image while ensure customer care practices are adhered to. These roles are excepted under Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exclusions and Exceptions) (Scotland) Order (as amended). Interviews are likely to place week commencing 14th July
