Job description

We are a specialty vaccine company that develops, manufactures, and commercializes prophylactic vaccines for infectious diseases addressing unmet medical needs.

We are recruiting for a maternity position as an FP&A Accountant.

This role will support the Financial Controller - Manufacturing and the wider finance team to report and provide insights into the financial and operational performance of our manufacturing activities in Sweden. The role involves monitoring and reporting on key contracts, preparing monthly management accounts, and providing financial insights for decision-making by senior stakeholders. Additionally, the role will contribute to business growth through ad hoc projects.

The role requires travel to our site in Sweden, and it is a fixed-term position to cover maternity leave. We are also open to applications from Solna, with the willingness to commute monthly to our Livingston Finance Hub.

Requirements

  • Preparation and analysis of management accounts and commentary
  • Monthly performance reviews with key budget holders
  • Monitoring of key customer and supplier contracts, reporting progress to senior stakeholders
  • Assistance with budget and forecast cycles for manufacturing
  • Processing of capital expenditure requests for unbudgeted capital spend
  • Reporting on key business metrics to foster continuous improvement
  • International travel to Sweden as needed
  • Out-of-hours work when required
  • Other duties as assigned by the line manager

Experience

  • Qualified Accountant with relevant post-qualification experience
  • Experience in budgeting and reforecasting
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
  • Desirable : Experience working with SMEs, in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industries, knowledge of standard costing, internal controls, SOX compliance, and international collaboration
  • Required skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems (Microsoft AX)
