Job Opportunity : Domestic Gas Engineer (Southend) Location : Southend Sector : Social Housing / Housing Association Position : Qualified Domestic Gas Engineer Example Recruitment Group are proud to be working with a well-established national heating contractor specialising in the local authority sector. We are currently seeking a qualified Domestic Gas Engineer to cover the Southend on Sea area. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out servicing, repairs, and maintenance within domestic social housing properties on a Housing Association contract. Key Responsibilities :

• Carry out annual Gas Safety Checks (LGSR)
• Fault finding and repairs on central heating systems
• Deliver a high level of customer service, ensuring tenants receive excellent care
• Adhere to all Health & Safety regulations, including Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work, and COSHH records Requirements :
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience with gas qualifications
• Extensive experience in servicing boilers and gas appliances, as well as strong fault-finding, diagnostic, and repair skills
• In-date ACS qualifications, including CKR1 & HTR1
• Full UK driving licence
• No unspent criminal convictions (DBS check to be carried out upon offer of employment) Salary & Benefits :
• 42.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
