Job Title : Security Installation Engineer Location : Egham Salary : £45k basic (Night Rate at time & 1 / 3) Hours of Work : 07 : 30-16 : 30 (Day), 19 : 30-04 : 30 (Night Overtime) Type : Permanent Start Date : Immediate Our client is focused on providing high-quality installation and maintenance services for specialist secure area entry management, surveillance equipment, and commercial door entry systems. Due to expansion, they’re now looking to add a Security Installation Engineer to their busy team. Duties
- Work as a member of a small team (2 man minimum) completing installations within a High Security Environment, often in the Aviation transport and Education sectors.
- Communicate with client enquiries and deliver a high standard of customer service in a clear and professional manner.
- Report to the Project Manager daily on job completion / progress and submit written reports.
- Conduct installations as laid down by current company and security protocol procedures as directed by the team supervisor.
- Complete project installation paperwork and individual time sheets in a timely manner (daily).
- Maintain issued tools, uniform, PPE, and equipment in a clean and serviceable state, including company vehicles.
- Adhere to Company and Site Health, Safety and Environmental Procedures.
- Report dangerous occurrences or incidents both internally and externally.
- Undertake supplier and specialist training as directed for career development.
- Undertake additional duties at the request of the management for the benefit of the company. Essential or Preferable Experience, Qualifications or Skills
- Knowledge and Experience on Intruder Systems (Preferred).
- Knowledge and Experience on Access Systems (Preferred).
- Knowledge and Experience on CCTV systems and data installations (Preferred).
- Clean and proven employment record for security reasons and clearance.
- Full Driving License Required.
- Must hold a valid CSCS / ECS Card.
- Ability to work safely and carry out written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to communicate clearly both written and verbal.

- Ability to forward plan and have the motivation required to lead a small team into completing works within a desired timeframe.
- Self-motivated / own initiative with communication to head office.
- Flexibility to react within a fast-changing environment often experienced on Construction Sites.
- Knowledge of 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (Advantageous).
- SSSTS / SMSTS (advantageous).
- IPAF, Pasma, confined space certification (Advantageous)
