Job descriptionCarrying out daily vehicle checks Deliveries of kitchens in a two man team within Central and Southern Scotland- Assisting with pre-delivery phone call to residential customers Manual handling of large heavy items Dealing with paperwork Working on a 12-week probationary period through Driver Hire Class 2 licence Valid CPC and Digi Tacho cards Excellent customer service skills No more than 6 points and clear from DD, DR & IN endorsements Monday to Friday : £16.00 p / h PAYE Monday to Friday : £17. 93 p / h PAYE Adv Saturday : £21.32 p / h PAYE Saturday : £23.89 p / h PAYE Adv 9.6hrs minimum guaranteed per day 28 days paid holiday pro rata on PAYE Weekly pay Pension contributions after qualifying period
Driver Hire Motherwell are currently looking for Class 2 (Cat C) drivers to work with our busy client based in Lanark on an ongoing basis with the view to lead to permanent for the right candidate dealing with home deliveries.
Shifts and Hours
- Working Monday to Friday
- Occasional Saturday may be required
- 0400 to 0600 starts
- 48 hours a week
