Location : Farnborough, with travel as required to client premises

Working pattern : Hybrid, 3 days per week in the office

The Role :

Parico is seeking a skilled Infrastructure Engineer who is smart, curious, and thrives on working closely with a small business to solve complex and challenging problems across the Public Sector landscape. You’ll have the freedom to be truly innovative, to roll up your sleeves, get into the details of systems, and do what it takes to achieve excellent technical solutions for our customers’ complex problems.

You will be part of a team developing greenfield systems and services for our clients, using cloud services and on-premise infrastructure components. You will build and maintain an extensive portfolio of Windows and Linux technologies, related storage, server platforms, and management software. You will be responsible for securely managing and monitoring services, ensuring a seamless environment and experience for all our clients.

Responsibilities include :

• Collaborate within our technical team, including Infrastructure Architects and CTO, on designing and developing greenfield services.
• Oversee and execute routine configuration changes within internal and client-facing systems, ensuring smooth operation.
• Enhance infrastructure stability and efficiency by providing expert 2nd, 3rd, and 4th line support, improving system performance and availability.
• Participate in evaluating and verifying new system and software releases for optimal integration and functionality.
• Maintain asset management records meticulously to ensure efficient processes.
• Understand how solutions fit into the broader IT ecosystem, including integration of authentication and directory services.
• Create clear, easy-to-understand technical documentation to communicate complex information effectively.
