The Role :
This is a strategic commercial role, ideal for someone with a proven track record in life sciences or diagnostics business development. You’ll drive new client engagement, build long-term partnerships, and help shape the commercial future of a business that’s making a real impact in healthcare innovation.
Key Responsibilities :
- Support the creation and delivery of the company’s BD strategy in partnership with leadership
- Identify and convert new business across diagnostics, pharma, and academia
- Engage clients directly—at conferences, events, and online
- Maintain and optimise CRM systems for lead and client tracking
- Prepare proposals, client presentations, and tailored commercial offers
- Collaborate on marketing content, thought leadership, and digital campaigns
- Coordinate with technical teams to support grant submissions and CRO program delivery
- Monitor client satisfaction and resolve issues swiftly to ensure retention
- Share market and client insights to inform strategic planning
